During my undergraduate studies, I was exposed to a wide range of design disciplines through a well-rounded curriculum. I built a strong foundation in both physical and digital product design, gaining skills across the full process—from user research and product definition to the development of intelligent products. I also acquired knowledge in related areas such as service design, information design, branding, and product photography. This broad exposure gave me a comprehensive understanding of design from multiple perspectives.

User Experience Designer
During my time at Huawei, I benefited greatly from being part of a highly interdisciplinary UX team. Collaborating with team members from backgrounds in sociology, psychology, industrial design, art, and hardware testing gave me valuable insight into other fields, and helped me recognize the importance of incorporating diverse perspectives into the design process.
Lingxi Pointing Remote Control
Led the end-to-end user experience work-stream for the Lingxi Pointing Remote, starting from project initiation. Played a key role in driving the project approval by conducting early-stage qualitative user research and comprehensive benchmarking studies. After successful project kick-off, took charge of interaction design during the development phase, and later led user testing in the product implementation stage.
HarmonyOS Smart Home
Led the usability testing and iteration of the user experience for HarmonyOS-based smart wall switches and central control panels, directly contributing to product version improvements. Drove the development of general user interaction design guidelines for whole-house smart systems, including foundational proposals for elderly-friendly design.
Sound X4 Speaker
Conducted human factors evaluation for multi-speaker network latency experience, supporting chipset selection decisions. Participated in comparative user experience studies across multiple speaker models and delivered UX reports that informed the design strategy of the Speakers product.
Smart Door Lock
Redesigned the user experience flow for the unboxing and initial setup process of smart door locks, improving ease of use and user onboarding.
MSc
in Industrial Design
However, I also gradually realized that I lacked the depth of design knowledge required to fully support my ambitions. This realization motivated me to pursue further study at the graduate level.
Looking back, I am proud of the growth I’ve achieved throughout my time at TU/e, particularly in the FMP. My vision as a designer pushes me to constantly explore new fields, integrate interdisciplinary knowledge, and design for deeper human connection. Despite the many challenges and setbacks encountered, I remained committed to designing with purpose and empathy.
