AI-powered product enabling people to learn new skills and shift into different careers

Motivation
Observing how AI reshapes industries, I aim to design ways it can empower people to learn, grow, and navigate their career paths effectively.

Persona
Through five qualitative interviews, I identified patterns in users’ experiences and developed two personas that represent their goals, difficulties, and learning needs.

How can AI help?
After defining the personas, I explored how AI could address their needs and challenges. I eventually defined AI’s role in the product as two parts: an Enhancer and a Navigator.

Information Architecture
Based on these two AI roles, I mapped out how the Enhancer and Navigator integrate into different product modules.

LoFi
With the information architecture in place, I developed lofi prototypes to test the core interactions. Feedback from quick user tests guided several rounds of iteration, leading to a more streamlined and validated final version.

Visual Design
After finalizing the main flow, I developed the visual identity of Pathly. The design language reflects clarity and guidance.

HiFI
By adjusting components, users can customize their homepage to highlight the content most relevant to their current goals.
By identifying specific needs, AI provides more targeted resources and vacancies recommendations.

By summarizing insights, answering questions, AI helps to choose resources and vacancies more efficiently.
By tracking feedback, AI continually learns user preferences and states.

By connecting skills, experience, and interests with real job market demand, AI helps to explore diverse possibilities.

By exploring skill details, users can track their current level, review progress, and access recommended resources to continue improving.
By tracking learning progress, AI learns user learning rhythm. AI grows alongside the user, supporting goal-setting and progress management.
